The General Directorate of Civil Defense in Saudi Arabia has warned of the continued thunderstorm rains in most regions of the Kingdom until next Saturday.

The Civil Defense urged everyone to take precautions, stay in safe places, avoid areas where floods and valleys gather, refrain from swimming in them, and adhere to the instructions announced through various media and social media platforms.

The National Center of Meteorology explained that the regions of Makkah, Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha will be affected by moderate to heavy rains that will lead to flooding and hail, as well as downward winds stirring up dust and sand, including the holy capital, Al-Kamil, Al-Jumum, Bahra, Taif, Maysan, Adham, and Al-Ardiyat. Meanwhile, the governorates of Al-Lith and Al-Qunfudhah will experience light to moderate rains.

Additionally, the regions of Al-Madinah, Hail, Tabuk, Al-Jouf, and the Northern Borders will witness light to moderate rains.
