US President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday that he spoke with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Trump told reporters on the South Lawn of the White House: “I spoke with Saudi Arabia about Yemen.” He also added that the Houthis "are behaving very badly," according to Reuters.

In another context, the US President renewed his description of Iran as a "failed state."

He also confirmed that the United States will take a decision on Iran “very soon.”

For his part, US State Department spokesman Tommy Pigot said that Washington "continues to support the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and will always stand by its side."

Pigot added to Al-Arabiya/Al-Hadath that "the Houthis are behaving badly and attacking civilian objects."

He also added that the Houthi attacks threaten the lives of innocent civilians.
