"Unexpected" Action from the Kuwaiti Federation Towards Fans After Exiting "Gulf 27"

- The Kuwaiti national team has bid farewell to the "Gulf Arab" Cup, as it stands last in the group A standings without any points. The "Kuwaiti Blue" suffered its second consecutive defeat against its Iraqi counterpart with a score of 2/3, in a match held at the Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City Stadium on Saturday, as part of the second round matches.

Following the match, the Kuwaiti Football Association apologized via its account on the "X" platform to the Kuwaiti fans who attended the match against the "Lions of the Tigris". The Kuwaiti Association clarified that the technical and administrative staff will submit a report on the reasons for exiting the "Gulf 27", as well as addressing "the areas of deficiency and finding appropriate solutions to develop the level and provide distinguished performance in the upcoming entitlements."

In appreciation of their support for their national team against Saudi Arabia and Iraq, the Kuwaiti Association decided to grant Kuwaiti fans free tickets to attend all matches of the Saudi Super Cup. The matches of the upcoming edition of the Saudi Super Cup will be held at the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium in Kuwait, in December, with the participation of the clubs Al-Ahli, Al-Nassr, Al-Khulood, and Al-Qadsia.
