- From the runway to the red carpet, Indian model Bhavitha Mandava continued her presence at Paris Fashion Week with a series of looks that reflected her growing relationship with the French fashion house "Chanel." Mandava was one of the models participating in the "Chanel" show for the Spring/Summer 2027 season, which took place in Paris yesterday, and she appeared in multiple looks, including a sleeveless black dress.
After the show, Mandava shared a personal moment with her parents, as she was seen with them in "selfie" photos, before videos documenting this moment spread on social media. The family's presence at Fashion Week comes after they also appeared alongside her at the BoF 500 event, where Mandava arrived on the red carpet with her parents.
For the occasion, she chose a black dress with a deep neckline, featuring delicate embroidered floral details and silver embellishments, along with a black satin layer that extended behind her in the form of a long train. Her mother opted for a traditional silk Indian sari, while her father appeared in a casual look coordinated with a sporty "Chanel" hat.
Mandava posted a video of her arrival with her family on her official "Instagram" account. This time, a real pair of jeans was among Mandava's standout looks in the French capital, as she participated in the "Coco Mademoiselle Crush Absolu" event hosted by "Chanel" at the "Le Trianon" hall to celebrate the new fragrance.
For the occasion, she chose jeans, a choice that brought back memories of her first appearance at the "Met Gala" last May, when she appeared in a design by Matthew Blazy, which at first glance seemed to consist of jeans and a zippered jacket. This appearance sparked widespread discussion, as some viewed it as a departure from the traditional style of clothing typically seen at the gala.
However, the pants were not actually made of denim; instead, they were designed from silk muslin and printed in a way that mimics the appearance of jeans, in a treatment that reintroduced a daily piece in the form of luxury fashion.
