Egyptian artist Ahmed Al-Saadani commemorated the birth of his father, the late artist Salah Al-Saadani, by publishing a never-before-published family photo, taken during his last birthday celebration, months before his death.

Through his official Instagram account, Ahmed Al-Saadani published the photo in which his late father appears surrounded by his family members.

He commented on the photo, saying: “My father’s last birthday, may God have mercy on him. Please pray.”

Salah Al-Saadani, who passed away in April 2024, celebrated his last birthday in October 2023, about 6 months before his death.

The late artist appeared in the photo alongside his wife Mona Al-Saadani, his daughter Merit, his son Ahmed Al-Saadani, and a number of his grandchildren.

Salah Al-Saadani is considered one of the most prominent stars of Egyptian and Arab drama. During his long artistic career, he presented more than 200 artistic works, through which he left a distinctive mark on the audience.

His last artistic appearance was in 2013, through the series “Minors”, before he moved away from the artistic scene.

During his last years, his appearance was limited to occasional periods, through family photos published by his family members, until his passing in April 2024.
