On Monday, the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out 1,879 precise and direct targeting operations against legitimate military targets belonging to the terrorist Houthi militia supported by the Iranian regime, using military aircraft, drones, field artillery, launchers, and sniper units, as part of the ongoing “Yemen Dawn” operation.

The official spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Colonel Majid Al-Nuzaili, explained in a statement that the operations resulted, according to initial estimates, in the neutralization of about 950 militia members, and the destruction and damage of 380 military vehicles, vehicles, and means, in addition to silencing sources of hostile fire and disrupting the command, control, and supply system.

He pointed out that the operations targeted the enemy combat system, including fortifications and defensive sites, command and control centers, artillery and launcher positions, observation and reconnaissance points, mustering and reinforcement areas, weapons and ammunition stores, vehicles, and means of transportation and supply.

In Taiz, Al-Nuzaili said: “The air strikes crushed the militia reinforcements and convoys pushed to the fronts, dispersed their gatherings and disrupted their attempts to consolidate their positions and reorganize their forces.”

He added that the targeting was carried out in accordance with the rules of international humanitarian law, taking into account the principles of distinction, proportionality and taking the necessary precautions to protect civilians and civilian objects.

The official spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces indicated that the military engineering units will continue to clear the recovered sites and areas of mines and explosive devices, and secure them in front of the forces and the return of citizens.
