Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed on Tuesday that he had an “objective” conversation with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio that focused on air defense issues and satellite communications.
Zelensky stated in a post on the “X” platform that the talks included ballistic missile interception systems, early warning of Russian ballistic missile attacks, and the situation related to the Starlink and Starshield satellite services, which he said “need to be restored to what they were.”
On Monday, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed that the United States had not stopped sharing information with Ukraine, calling on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to focus on putting an end to the war with Russia.
"What we should focus on and what we want to focus on is ending this war," Rubio said during a visit to Uzbekistan.
The US Secretary of State denied that Washington had suspended the sharing of intelligence information with Ukraine, as reported by the Kiev authorities.
