"Nurseries" Prepare Endangered Sharks for Return to the Ocean

- Off the coast of Kri Island in the Raja Ampat archipelago of Indonesia, spotted sharks measuring about one meter glide underwater, in a scene that environmental advocates say was, until recently, extremely rare. Zebra sharks (also known as leopard sharks) have long lived in the coral reefs extending across the region.
