9 Martyrs in 24 Hours and Israel Attempted to Assassinate Al-Amoudi

Gaza - Afaq News - The Israeli occupation army continues its violations of the ceasefire file on its 362nd day in various areas of the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli violations over the past 24 hours have led to the martyrdom of nine citizens and injured others in various areas of the sector.

Citizen Muhammad Akram Anan was martyred after succumbing to his injuries sustained days ago when the occupation's aircraft targeted his apartment near Al-Shifa Hospital, which resulted in the martyrdom of his wife at that time.

Al-Aqsa Hospital announced the martyrdom of two citizens affected by their injuries: Zain al-Din Hamdan, who was affected by his injuries from the occupation's fire in Al-Nuseirat camp in central Gaza, and young Muhammad Talaat Aql, from Jabalia camp, who succumbed to his injuries sustained from a gunshot wound to the head in the Shahin camp area in Um Dhahir in Deir al-Balah at the end of September.

Earlier, citizen Mahmoud Aliyan Al-Bazam was martyred after being targeted in the Abbas Kilani roundabout area near Al-Shimaa in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza.

The occupation army officially announced its attempt to assassinate the head of Hamas in Gaza, Al-Amoudi, and is waiting to know his fate.

The assassination attempt on Al-Amoudi resulted in a massacre early Saturday morning in Gaza City, which claimed the lives of five citizens and left several others injured.

The occupation targeted the ground floor of the Al-Asala building in western Gaza City, resulting in the martyrdom of the five citizens, four women and a young man.

The martyrs are: Maria Hafiz Al-Najjar and her daughter, Maysa Khadr Abu Dawood from the Christians of Gaza, Yasmin Al-Boubo, Haloum Abdul Nasser Al-Boubo, and Bilal Muhammad Ouda, 21 years old.

Early today, the occupation army carried out new demolition operations east of Gaza City.

The helicopter gunships fired several times east of Khan Younis.

Statistics

The health ministry in Gaza reported that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 7 martyrs (including two martyrs who succumbed to their injuries, and one martyr whose body was retrieved) and 20 injuries in the past 48 hours.

The death toll since the onset of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 74,228, while the total number of injuries has reached 175,188.

It clarified that the death toll since the ceasefire on October 11, 2025, has reached 1,445, while the number of injuries has reached 5,052, in addition to the retrieval of 835 martyr bodies.

The same sources noted that 181 martyrs have been added to the cumulative statistics of martyrs, after completing their data and approving it by the Martyrs' Approval Committee, since the last addition to the statistics on 26/09/2026.
