A dress with a bold chest cut and an embroidered coat. This is how Jennifer Lopez appeared in Los Angeles

- American artist Jennifer Lopez chose a look that combined the theatrical character with details inspired by classic fashion, while attending the opening ceremony of the Los Angeles Opera season for the year 2026. Lopez coordinated a black dress with a huge fur coat from the “Alta Moda” collection for the house “Dolce & Gabbana”, distinguished by multi-colored floral embroideries, dense brown edges, and a royal blue lining.

Under the coat, Lopez wore a black velvet dress with a bold bodice, with transparent details at the bottom, by Romanian fashion designer Maria Lucia Huan. She completed her look with black high-heeled shoes and a small handbag in the same color, while she wore her hair pulled back with strands falling around the face, and makeup in bronze shades.

To complete the look, Lopez chose a necklace with a design inspired by marine plants, combining transparent enamel details, diamonds, and dangling marquise-cut stones. This design recalls the “Art Nouveau” style, which spread in the late nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth century, and was distinguished by its elements being inspired by nature.

The fur look accompanied Lopez to the Stella McCartney show for the spring and summer season of 2027, as part of the Fashion Week activities in the French capital, Paris, last month.
