Ahmed Al-Sharaa arrives in Saudi Arabia... and this is what he will discuss with Mohammed bin Salman

The Syrian President in the transitional period, Ahmed Al-Sharaa, arrived in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, on Wednesday, where he is scheduled to meet with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, according to what was reported by the official Syrian News Agency (SANA). The official Saudi News Agency (SPA) said that Al-Sharaa arrived at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, where he was received by Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Riyadh Region, and a number of Saudi officials.

The official Syrian Al-Ikhbariya channel indicated that Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Shaibani, the Ministers of Defence, Finance and Industry, and the Head of General Intelligence are accompanying Al-Sharaa on this visit. The official Syrian News Agency reported that Al-Sharaa will meet with the Saudi Crown Prince during the visit and will discuss with him a number of "bilateral issues in addition to signing many agreements in various sectors."

A few days ago, Al-Shaibani told Al-Sharq News channel that there are “ongoing discussions to evaluate Syria’s entry into the Mecca Pact.”
