Yemeni Prime Minister Sha'if Al-Zandani said on Tuesday that restoring state authority is inseparable from protecting the security of Yemen and the region, and securing international navigation in the Red Sea and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, which puts an end to the risks threatening this vital passage and the security of international trade.
This came during his follow-up through communications with military and field leaders on the front lines, regarding the updates on operations and the progress made in several axes, amid the rapid developments occurring in the combat fronts on the second day of the "Fajr Yemen" operation.
Al-Zandani confirmed that his government is monitoring the course of the battle moment by moment, and is putting the state's capabilities at the service of the forces fulfilling their national duty to restore state authority and its sovereignty over the entire national territory.
He praised the steadfastness and courage demonstrated by the armed forces, military formations, and popular resistance, as well as the progress they are making on the ground, affirming that this progress is being directly monitored by the government, which is fully prepared to support it at the security, service, and living levels.
The Yemeni Prime Minister praised the support of the coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and what it provides in terms of assistance to restore state authority and enhance the security of Yemen and the region, affirming that this support embodies the steadfast brotherly stance of the Kingdom alongside the Yemeni people and their legitimate leadership.
