An Israeli soldier was injured by an ammunition explosion inside a tank in southern Lebanon

Beirut - Ofoq News - An Israeli occupation army soldier was injured as a result of an ammunition explosion inside a tank during a military operation in southern Lebanon.

The occupation army spokesman said that the soldier was injured in an “operational accident,” noting that he was transferred to the hospital to receive treatment, and his family was informed of the accident, while its circumstances were being investigated.

For its part, Maariv reported that the injured soldier belonged to the 188th Brigade, and that the injury occurred as a result of an ammunition explosion inside a tank during an operation in the Beaufort sector in southern Lebanon.
