Seven Palestinians were killed on Tuesday in Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip, according to local civil defense and hospitals.
Two men were killed in Israeli strikes that targeted a cemetery in the town of Al-Zawaida and in the Wadi Gaza area, in the central Gaza Strip, according to Civil Defense spokesman Mahmoud Basal and Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.
An Israeli strike in the Jabalia area in northern Gaza caused the death of another person, according to Basal and Al-Shifa Hospital in the Strip, which indicated that it had also received the body of another man who was killed in a strike in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in southeastern Gaza City.
A man and his wife were killed and a number of people were injured in another strike that targeted an apartment in a residential building near Al-Shifa Hospital, in the Al-Rimal neighborhood, west of Gaza City.
As for Nasser Hospital, it reported that it received the body of a teenager who was killed by Israeli bullets south of Khan Yunis, located in the southern Gaza Strip.
The Israeli army said, in response to a clarification from Agence France-Presse, that it is verifying this information.
He added that a strike in the Jabalia region led, on Monday, to "the neutralization of a Hamas terrorist who participated in the kidnapping of Shani Luke during the October 7 massacre."
Pictures of the body of Israeli Shani Luke lying almost naked in the back of a pickup truck surrounded by Hamas gunmen spread around the world, and her body was delivered to Israel in May 2024.
Hamas's unprecedented attack on Israel resulted in the deaths of 1,221 people, according to a tally prepared by Agence France-Presse based on official Israeli figures. The militants also took 251 hostages to Gaza, 44 of whom died.
Israel responded with a large-scale military campaign on Gaza, which left massive destruction and killed at least 74,400 people, according to the Hamas Ministry of Health in the Strip, whose figures the United Nations considers reliable.
Although Israel has reduced the intensity of its military operations, its strikes on Gaza continue at an almost daily rate. Since October 10, 2025, these strikes have killed at least 1,500 people, according to the Ministry of Health in the Strip.
