Jerusalem - Ofoq News - Today, Sunday, settlers stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that dozens of settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Mughrabi Gate side, wearing Jewish prayer shawls known as “tallits” and covering their heads, while some of them appeared barefoot, in manifestations related to Judaizing rituals adopted by the alleged “Temple” groups, during their raids on the mosque.
She pointed out that these practices fall within the context of the Temple groups’ attempts to impose Jewish religious rituals inside Al-Aqsa Mosque, and to establish treatment of it as a site of Jewish worship, within the framework of attempts to impose a new religious reality on it, targeting its Islamic identity and religious status, and changing the existing historical and legal situation therein.
