Egypt announces stabilization of fuel prices

The Automatic Pricing Committee for Petroleum Products in Egypt reviewed the determinants of the automatic pricing mechanism, the most important of which are changes in the exchange rate and the price of a barrel of Brent crude during the quarter extending from July to September 2026 compared to the previous quarter, and decided, in light of those determinants, to maintain the prices of petroleum products without modification or change.

There was a decision from the Council of Ministers to return the work of the automatic pricing committee for petroleum products, as the committee reviewed the local and international developments affecting the price equation, taking into account developments in global petroleum product prices, and the price measures previously taken throughout the past period, and made its decision in light of these determinants.
