The National Falcon Center's auction for 2026 will kick off at the beginning of October and will run until November 30, coinciding with the annual falcon auction season in the Kingdom.
The auction is dedicated to migratory juvenile Peregrine falcons that are offered within the Kingdom, while it does not include the Gyrfalcon and the Saker falcon, in support of the sustainability of their breeds and the preservation of them, continuing the approach that the center follows in organizing the auction.
The center's field teams are spread across various regions of the Kingdom during the auction season to receive the falconers and facilitate their arrival with their falcons to the auction venue, providing transportation and accommodation services, documenting sales transactions, and showcasing the falcons in a competitive live auction.
The auction brings together falconers and falconers from different regions of the Kingdom, organizing the buying and selling processes within a framework that preserves the rights of participants and enhances transparency, supporting the falconers and contributing to the preservation and development of the falconry heritage and passing it on to future generations.
The auction will be held at the center's headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh, while its activities will be broadcasted through television channels and social media platforms, allowing enthusiasts and falconers to follow the bidding on local falcons.
