For the first time: Britain and France conduct a joint nuclear deterrence exercise

Paris - Ofoq News - The French Ministry of Defense announced on Friday that Britain and France had conducted their first joint exercise with the participation of British fighter aircraft, as part of French nuclear deterrence efforts.

French Defense Minister Catherine Vattern said that British Typhoon aircraft participated in the maneuver on Tuesday evening alongside French Rafael aircraft.

She added that "the presence of independent nuclear forces does not prevent coordination," stressing that nuclear cooperation between the two countries is constantly deepening.
