Government media: The Israeli occupation commits 5,147 violations, resulting in 1,421 martyrs.

Gaza - Ofoq News - The government media office confirmed that a full year after the ceasefire agreement took effect in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation has proven its complete and complete repudiation of all its obligations, and has continued its systematic practices that have exacerbated the humanitarian crisis in an unprecedented way.

He explained that the humanitarian and relief reality in the Gaza Strip has become dangerous and catastrophic in every sense of the word and at all levels, putting hundreds of thousands of displaced people facing deadly repercussions.

He said in a statement that the occupation committed (5,147) violations of the agreement during the past year, resulting in (1,421) martyrs, and (4,983) others being injured, in addition to the arrest of (198) citizens, in a clear indication that the occupation does not care about the terms of the truce or the lives of civilians.

In refutation of the occupation's misleading claims of the entry of large quantities of supplies; The office confirmed in numbers that what was allowed to enter was limited to (72,826) trucks only, out of (210,600) humanitarian and relief trucks and reconstruction materials that were supposed to enter, according to the agreement, with a low compliance rate of less than (35%).

He pointed out that the occupation imposed strict restrictions on the movement of passengers, as only (13,785) passengers were allowed to leave out of (35,000) passengers who were supposed to travel to and from the Gaza Strip, with a compliance rate that did not exceed (39%).

He considered that the conditions that our Palestinian people have been living in the Gaza Strip for three years represent a process of complete destruction of life. We hold the occupation fully responsible for intentionally and deliberately exacerbating this reality, through systematic targeting of the health and education systems and infrastructure, and accompanied by a harsh and systematic starvation policy imposed on citizens on a daily basis, in addition to restricting the humanitarian situation in all other vital sectors.

Government media warned of an imminent disaster with the approaching winter, which is expected to be very cold and heavy with rain.

He added: “Today, more than one and a half million displaced people live in worn-out tents, with the total number of tents in the Strip reaching (270,000) tents, of which (162,000) tents are worn out and unusable, with a deficiency and deterioration rate exceeding the (60%) barrier.”

He also warned of the presence of more than (255) cracked buildings that are ready to collapse at any time, which threatens new victims and a repeat of the tragedy of the collapse of the “Happiness Building” in Gaza City.

He called on the international community, and UN and international organizations, to intervene urgently and immediately before it is too late, and to exert effective and real pressure to save the people of the Gaza Strip from the policy of genocide and the continuous bombing of residential neighborhoods and the killing of civilians, especially children, women and the elderly. We also demand that the occupation be obligated to fully open the crossings, allow the sick and wounded to travel to receive treatment, as well as provide the basic necessities of life, stop the policy of starvation and thirst, and bring in urgent winter relief materials to avoid a catastrophic winter that threatens the lives of hundreds of thousands of innocent people.
