“I work harder than any president.” Trump intensifies his campaign before the midterm elections

- US President Donald Trump said on Friday that he is putting in more effort in this year's midterm elections than any previous president - including himself during his first presidential term - during an election rally in South Carolina, five days before polling day. Trump added to the crowd: “I can say one thing: No president has ever worked as hard in the midterm elections as I do now.

"Most presidents - including me in previous times - tended to slow down and stay home." This visit comes as part of an intense campaign in the last week to support Republican candidates, including Senator Darlene Graham, who received Trump's support to fill a seat in the Senate that was occupied by her late brother; she is currently seeking to win this seat for a full term.

“I think this is my 28th stop, and there are two or three stops for Graham,” the president said. Ofoq News has counted at least 25 Trump rallies during this election cycle so far.

Trump also singled out Senator Tim Scott, who is not running for re-election this year, but is leading the Republican Party's national effort to win Senate seats. “Tim accompanies me everywhere I go,” Trump said.

The pace of the election campaign affected him; Trump admitted that his voice had become hoarse after weeks of constant moving. "It's holier than it was two weeks ago, but we keep moving forward nonetheless."

After spending minutes attacking recent polls, calling them "made up," Trump conducted his own poll during the campaign rally in South Carolina on Thursday. Trump asked the attendees — many of whom were wearing red “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) hats and Trump-themed apparel — whether any of them had personally participated in a poll.

Trump said: “Let me ask you a question: How many polls have you participated in? Have any of you in this room ever participated in a poll?”

The president appeared to pay excessive attention to the latest opinion polls, insisting that the polls published by the media were “not real” and “completely fake.” Trump expressed particular dissatisfaction with polls examining the percentage of popular support for him.

They say: “Donald Trump’s approval rating is 42%.” 42%? It was not clear which poll Trump was referring to; The average opinion poll prepared by the Ofoq News network shows that his support rate is 34%.
