Anyone passing by the coastal cliffs in the Sultanate of Oman cannot help but be amazed by its captivating terrain, which also seems to have attracted camels, as shown in an interesting video clip documented by the Omani photographer Ahmed Salem Al-Barami (watch the video above). In a stunning scene at the beach of Rakhyut state, a group of camels can be seen lining up in front of a green spot overlooking the coast, while waves crash in the background.
The Omani photographer documented this autumn scene at the end of August by chance, when he wanted to photograph the view of the beach and green mountains with a drone. Al-Barami said in an interview with the Ofoq News website in Arabic: “I usually like to explore the place with a drone before taking pictures, and I was surprised by the presence of camels as they climbed to the height, and gathered in a majestic scene in front of the view of the beach and the green mountains.”
He continued: “I documented the beautiful shots while I was fascinated by the camels standing in one straight line in front of the scenery.” The Omani photographer was not the only one who was surprised by the way the camels stood in front of the scene, as he pointed out that many Internet users thought that he used some method to make these animals stand in this way.
He said: “Everyone thought I had a way to make camels stand in front of the scene... and hundreds of thousands of people shared the clip widely.”
