Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, accompanied by her husband, Prince William, attended the world premiere of the movie “Digger” in the British capital, London, in what marked the duo’s return to the red carpet at royal cinema screenings after more than four years. The event was organized in Leicester Square Gardens, as part of the royal screening of the film, which supports an organization concerned with supporting workers in the film and television sectors, and witnessed the presence of a number of Hollywood stars, led by American actor Tom Cruise, who received them on the red carpet.
Middleton chose a long, dark purple dress from the fall and winter 2016 collection of British designer Jenny Packham. The design came with a flowing cut of silk and chiffon, with exposed details at the waist and layers of pleated fabric, while the light material added clear movement to the design.
The Princess of Wales maintained the harmony of colors in her look, as she carried a burgundy velvet bag with a rectangular design and clear edges, and coordinated it with high-heeled velvet shoes in the same color, distinguished by a pointed toe and an elegant classic design, from the British house “Jimmy Choo”. But the most telling detail came from the royal jewellery, which brought together in one appearance the legacies of Princess Diana and the Queen Mother.
She chose diamond and pearl earrings that were from Princess Diana's possessions, and coordinated them with a historic necklace from the Queen Mother's collection dating back to 1923. Middleton adopted a half-up hairstyle with soft waves, and evening makeup was based on smoky eyes and bright pink lips.
As for Prince William, he chose a black tuxedo with a velvet touch, which he coordinated with a classic white shirt and a black bow tie.
