Tel Aviv - Afaq News - The Israeli occupation army continues, through its Arabic spokesperson Eila Wawiya, to threaten to target hospitals in the Gaza Strip, claiming that Hamas uses these health facilities to hide its members and weapons, despite the movement and the Ministry of Health in Gaza denying these accusations.
The army spokesperson is conducting a media campaign across social media platforms, which includes statements, videos, designs, and cartoons, along with direct messages and warnings to the residents of the Gaza Strip, claiming that Hamas exploits hospitals and medical facilities to carry out military activities.
In her latest posts, Wawiya presented what the Israeli army claimed was documentation of two Hamas members exiting Kamal Adwan Hospital, alleging that one of them planted explosive devices in the yellow line area after being transferred from inside the hospital, and that they were killed after being spotted.
Wawiya also accused Hamas of systematically exploiting hospitals, ambulances, and schools, warning that the continuation of what she described as "military activity" within civilian facilities would lead the army to take action against them.
In contrast, Hamas and the Ministry of Health in Gaza denied the presence of armed individuals or weapons inside medical facilities, considering the Israeli accusations an attempt to provide justifications for targeting the health sector, affirming that hospitals contain patients, wounded individuals, and medical staff and operate under extremely difficult conditions.
