Not for the faint of heart.. A glass overlook in the Sultanate of Oman that puts you in the heart of a frightening mountain scene

- The slopes of Mount Sajer in the Sultanate of Oman have always enjoyed breathtaking beauty and remarkable prestige, and a new glass view puts you in the heart of this scene to reveal the greatness of this natural landmark towering on the slopes of Mount Al Qamar. But this view is not for the faint of heart, according to a video clip documented by Omani photographer Mazen Bakhlam.

Bamkhalaf visited the new “Shaat” overlook with a desire to document it, due to the stunning natural scenery surrounding it (see the video above). The Omani photographer said in an interview with the Ofoq News website in Arabic: “Because of my love for photographing nature and exploring the beautiful places in Dhofar, I was interested in visiting the overlook and photographing it from a different angle, especially since the sea view from above was very beautiful.”

The glass overlook gives visitors the opportunity to view the mountain slopes beneath their feet and the Arabian Sea from a high altitude of more than a thousand metres, according to what the official website of the Oman News Agency reported online. Standing on top of the glass was an otherworldly experience, as Bamkhalaf said: “It was a different and enjoyable experience.

At first, I felt a little terrified, but the view is worth experiencing.” The aerial scenes that the Omani documented with a drone have garnered nearly half a million views since they were posted on his Instagram account in late July.
