The Russian Ministry of Defense announced in a statement on Friday that the armed forces targeted a bridge in Kyiv, designated for cars and trains, which crosses the Dnieper River and is used for logistical supply of military shipments for Ukrainian military formations in the Donbas region.
Kyiv authorities announced, citing the police, the closure of the southern bridge to vehicles in both directions after it was hit by Russian drones. Movement was also restricted on one lane of the metro bridge from the left bank to the right bank, and vehicle movement was closed on the Paton Bridge from the right bank to the left bank.
The Russian defense also announced that during the night, a cargo ship in the Black Sea was targeted, which was transporting military equipment to the port of Odesa for the benefit of Ukrainian forces.
The Russian forces also targeted an industrial and production complex in the port of Ismail, which was used for sorting and distributing military shipments and fuel for the Ukrainian army, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.
For its part, the Ukrainian Air Force announced that Russia launched 108 drones, including forty-seven jet drones, overnight.
