A person was killed and another was injured today, Friday, due to an explosion of war remnants at the nursing school in the city of Daraya in the Damascus countryside.
The Syrian news agency "SANA" reported the statement of Khaled Al-Najm, the director of the Operations Center of the Emergency and Disaster Management Directorate in the Damascus countryside, who said that the Syrian Civil Defense teams in the Damascus countryside transported the body to a hospital to complete the procedures and hand it over to the family, while the locals provided first aid to the injured.
Al-Najm pointed out that the nursing school in Daraya is completely destroyed and out of service, and warning signs have been placed around it to prevent approaching it.
He emphasized that the Emergency and Disaster Management Directorate stresses the importance of not approaching suspicious objects or war remnants, and the necessity of reporting them to the relevant authorities to ensure the safety of civilians.
A person was killed and another was injured last Tuesday due to the explosion of a war remnants device inside an abandoned military battalion on the Hajoula road connecting Nasiriyah and Nabek in the Damascus countryside.
