The escalation between Russia and Ukraine continues today, Thursday, with no signs indicating an end to the conflict that has been ongoing since February 2022.
In the latest developments on the ground, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated on Thursday that Russian forces shelled a cargo ship in the Ukrainian port of Chornomorsk on the Black Sea.
The ministry clarified that the ship was being used to supply the Ukrainian army with supplies.
The ministry also mentioned that the forces shelled a transport and logistics center in Kyiv that was used for manufacturing drone boats, and a data center in Odesa that was used for processing intelligence and other operational information for the Ukrainian army.
This comes as Ukrainian emergency services and an official via "Telegram" reported that Russian airstrikes resulted in one person being injured in the capital, Kyiv, and another in the coastal city of Odesa on the Black Sea.
Serhiy Lisak, head of the Odesa administration via "Telegram", stated that infrastructure was damaged in the city, which is experiencing repeated Russian attacks in an attempt to prevent Ukraine from generating export revenues, without providing further details.
