Sanaa - Ofoq News - The Houthis announced, on Wednesday evening, that they had targeted Riyadh Airport with a ballistic missile, after they had announced the implementation of a “specific military operation” targeting the “Aramco” company in Dhahran in the Eastern Province, King Khalid International Airport and the “Aramco” refinery in Riyadh, with a large number of ballistic and winged missiles, and drones.
The military spokesman for the Houthis, Yahya Saree, said, “The hit was accurate, and caused destruction and fires in the targeted sites,” adding, “The Yemeni armed forces confirm that their operations towards the Saudi depth will continue during the coming days by targeting the enemy’s Saudi airport and oil facilities, and their consequences for it will be dire.” Saree warned, "All international shipping companies, citizens, and workers at those airports and companies to stay away from them and evacuate immediately, as they have become legitimate targets for our armed forces."
The Yemeni arena is witnessing an accelerating military escalation, with continued confrontations between government forces and the Ansar Allah group (Houthis), coinciding with the government forces’ launch of Operation “Yemen Dawn,” and the expansion of the scope of air and missile strikes to include areas inside Yemen and Saudi Arabia, amid warnings of worsening security and humanitarian repercussions.
