Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stressed that the Houthi terrorist militia attacks that "targeted our sister Saudi Arabia caused great tension in the region."
He said, "The Houthi attack on Riyadh airport caused the loss of the lives of Umrah pilgrims and the lives of many Muslims."
At the same time, the Houthi terrorist militia's attacks on Riyadh Airport were met with Arab, Islamic and international rejection.
Türkiye strongly condemned the Houthi group's attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, reiterating its support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement today: “We condemn in the strongest terms the Houthis targeting King Khalid International Airport in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, again,” expressing its condolences to the victims of the attack and the speedy recovery of the wounded.
The Ministry stated that these attacks, which deliberately targeted civilian infrastructure and civilians, constitute a flagrant violation of international law and the principles of international humanitarian law, stressing the need to immediately stop actions that threaten regional security and stability, and harm the joint efforts of the international community to establish peace, renewing its support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The spokesman for the Coalition to Support Legitimacy, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, revealed that the terrorist militia had carried out 20 attacks on King Khalid International Airport in the capital, Riyadh, since October 1, causing 17 deaths and more than 330 injuries as a result of the Houthi attack on the airport itself.
Arab, Islamic, and international denunciations and condemnations of the "brutal Houthi attacks" that targeted King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh expanded, amid assurances of solidarity with Saudi Arabia and support for its measures to protect its security and sovereignty, in exchange for the "war crime" carried out by the Houthis against the passenger lounges at King Khalid Airport, which caused deaths and injuries among civilian passengers and workers.
