The UAE condemns the attack by Israeli settlers on a European diplomatic delegation in the West Bank

Abu Dhabi - Ofoq News - The United Arab Emirates, on Monday, strongly condemned the attack on a European diplomatic delegation at the hands of Israeli settlers, during its visit to the village of Al-Taybeh in the occupied West Bank.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed, in a statement published on its account on the “X” platform, that the attack constitutes a clear violation of international laws, charters and norms that guarantee full protection for diplomats and diplomatic missions.

The Ministry stressed that such practices contribute to exacerbating the deteriorating conditions in the region and hinder international efforts aimed at achieving peace and stability.

The UAE Foreign Ministry called for an independent and transparent investigation into these violations, and for those responsible to be held accountable, stressing the need for the international community to fulfill its responsibilities towards stopping Israeli violations and working to prevent further escalation in the occupied Palestinian territories and the region.
