Trump on Israeli elections: 'Maybe I'll support someone'

Washington - Ofoq News - US President Donald Trump said that he may support one of the candidates in the upcoming Israeli elections, in response to a question directed to him regarding the elections scheduled to be held in Israel in about two weeks.

Israeli media quoted Trump as saying: “Maybe I will support someone,” without specifying the name of the candidate he might announce his support for.

Trump's statement comes in light of the anticipation of the political scene in Israel as the elections approach, amid interest in the US administration's position on Israeli candidates and political leaders.
