Under occupation threats, apartment owners in a building in Salfit change the paint on their walls

Salfit - Ofoq News - The owners of residential apartments in the Dr. Omar Abdel Razek building in the city of Salfit changed the paint of the building’s walls and facade from green to another color, following the threats and harassment they were subjected to from the Israeli occupation forces, who stormed the building more than once and subjected a number of apartment owners to investigation.

Citizens reported that the occupation forces stormed the building on several occasions, interrogated the owners of the apartments, and asked them to change the color of its facade from green to another color, which prompted them to change the paint in response to these demands, and to avoid further threats and harassment.

This measure reflects the extent of Israeli interference in the details of the daily lives of Palestinians in the city of Salfit, as the occupation’s harassment was not limited to restricting the movement of citizens and repeated raids, but rather extended to affect their homes and private property, up to imposing changes to the paint of the walls of a residential building.

The change in building paint comes after a series of raids, investigations, and threats to which apartment owners were exposed, putting them under pressure that prompted them to change the facade of their residential building in response to the demands of the occupation forces.
