Hussein Al-Sheikh

Deputy President of the State of Palestine and Deputy Chairman of the PLO Executive Committee

On 26 April 2025 the PLO Executive Committee named him deputy chairman and deputy president, after the Central Council created the post.

Born in Ramallah in 1960. He was executive-committee secretary from 2022 to 2025 and head of civil affairs, and in June 2026 Fatah’s Central Committee elected him deputy chairman.
