Dubai, United Arab Emirates - With its pristine white-sand beaches and clear blue waters, the Daymaniyat Islands are one of the most prominent islands in the Sultanate of Oman. The Daymaniyat Islands are located off the coast between the states of Barka and Seeb, and are surrounded by clear, turquoise waters on all sides, according to the Discover Oman website.
The Daymaniyat Islands are one of the natural reserves in Oman, which were declared a nature reserve in 1996. It is an archipelago with an area of 100 hectares and includes nine islands, according to the Omani News Agency. The islands are distinguished by their nature and the beauty of their stunning views, as their components vary between limestone rocks and rare types of coral reefs. They also have rocky slopes towards the sea, and these slopes continue into the water. The islands are also bordered by wide, shallow sand cliffs, and are bordered by a prominent coral range.
The Daymaniyat Islands are considered one of the most beautiful diving places in the Sea of Oman, according to the Omani Ministry of Information website, due to their clear, turquoise waters, which are ideal for diving. In an interview with the Ofoq News website in Arabic, the Omani photographer and traveler Rashid Al-Omrani says that the Daymaniyat Islands are among the most beautiful and famous islands in the Sultanate of Oman, pointing out their importance after they were declared a natural reserve because they contain many types of coral reefs and sea turtles.
From Al-Omrani’s point of view, the Daymaniyat Islands are distinguished by their rocky formations, sandy beaches, and the clear color of their waters, noting that they provide the opportunity to enjoy diving and watch the diversity of marine organisms and coral reefs. The photographer used a drone camera to document the scene from above, which he describes as “a stunning, eye-catching divine scene,” explaining that through this perspective, it is possible to see “the harmony of the colors and gradations of the sea and their mixing with the colors of the land to give a wonderful aesthetic painting,” according to what he said.
Al-Omrani advises those who wish to visit the Daymaniyat Islands to coordinate with the relevant tourism companies to prepare a complete schedule for the visit, including transportation by speedboat, environmental permits, and the provision of diving and camping equipment in order to enjoy the beautiful natural life in the splendors of these islands.
