The confrontation between Al-Faisaly Club, which is in 15th place on the standings with 3 points, and Abha Club, which is in last place with two points, was scheduled to take place at 6:25 pm today, Sunday, on the Damak Club stadium, before it was postponed to Tuesday, corresponding to October 27.
The association said that the decision to postpone came “after studying the circumstances related to the match, and in accordance with the approved regulatory procedures to ensure dealing with circumstances beyond the control of the clubs and maintaining the regularity of the competition.” Saudi press reports said that Al-Faisaly Club was unable to come to Abha, on Saturday, to play the match, due to circumstances related to the flight.
Saudi Arabia has been subjected to attacks from the Yemeni Houthi group recently, including the targeting of an airport in the capital, Riyadh, which killed at least 12 people.
