Dubai, United Arab Emirates - American actress Teyana Taylor appeared in a look from the fashion brand “Ashi Studio” by designer Muhammad Ashi, during the “Billboard Women in Music” concert, which was held at the “Hollywood Palladium” in Los Angeles, USA. The international star chose a dress from the “Beginnings” collection, whose style was inspired by Victorian era fashions, employing tight corset techniques inspired by the eighteenth century, in addition to embroideries with threads that mimic natural hair.
The design consisted of two parts: The top was a cream-colored corset embroidered on the front, while the bottom featured a long, completely sheer white tulle skirt, creating a visual balance between the solidity of the corset structure and the lightness of the flowing fabric underneath. Taylor completed the look with long white lace-up shoes that added a bold and modern touch. She also wore a long, curly wig, far from the usual “pixie” hairstyle, with strong makeup that was in keeping with her usual style.
This is not the first collaboration between the Golden Globe-winning star and the Saudi designer, as she often chooses his designs on the red carpet. After the black tulip dress that she wore earlier this year, she continued to appear with multiple signature looks.
Taylor wore a design from the Ashi Studio Spring/Summer 2026 Couture Collection to the 57th NAACP Image Awards. The look was a dark black corset dress made of stretchy silk satin, designed to define the figure, with flowing silk fabric that wrapped around the body in a structural way from hip level to the bottom of the dress, before gradually opening to form a long train that flowed to the floor.
She completed the look with shoes from the house in the same color. Taylor also shined in the “Beginnings” collection in a white design while attending the 41st edition of the Santa Barbara International Film Festival in California.
The dress is distinguished by ivory crepe fabric, with a shiny finish that suggests a “wet” effect, with long sleeves, a visible shoulder cut, and a lace extending along the back starting from a high neckline, with a vertebra-like gradient, while its edge ends with overlapping transparent layers that flow behind it like a light train.
