Trump: I am working with all my might for the Republicans to win the upcoming elections

- US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that he is working “with all my might” to defend the Republican majority next November, by continuing to deliver campaign speeches in various states until Election Day. “A good president often doesn't win,” Trump said in Greenville, North Carolina.

Now I'm doing something different; I work hard.” Trump participated in election campaigns for Republican candidates in North Carolina, including Michael Whatley, former chairman of the Republican National Committee and a candidate for US Senate.

Trump has called Whatley's opponent - former North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper - a "very liberal sociopath," highlighting his record on crime, including releasing prisoners during the Covid-19 pandemic. "These are very dangerous individuals, and they were released into our society, and now they're going to be your senator. It's crazy," Trump said, suggesting he believed Cooper would likely win the election.

In early October, the Senate Leadership Fund suspended its spending in North Carolina, but Trump indicated that he would continue his election campaign in the state to support “his man” Wattley as soon as possible, starting next week. However, Trump himself expressed some concern about the outcome, especially since he was the one who selected Whatley to take over.

Trump also announced additional investments in North Carolina, telling the audience that "the War Department will invest $1.5 billion to produce advanced semiconductor chips here in North Carolina."
